... the founder of Athleez – and here comes our story.
2020. The world was turned upside down – and we thought, "Why not turn our lives upside down too?" So, together with Chris, a friend and fellow trainer, I founded Athleez. Our mission? To create sporting goods and sportswear that are innovative and sustainable.
Since then, Athleez has been all about four things: top quality , stylish design, sensible functionality and real sustainability (not this “greenwashing blah blah”).
I'm not an activist myself – more of a sports-loving optimist with the desire to show my two sons: If you want to change something, then get going!
We started with big dreams and the vision of bringing a breath of fresh air to the sports industry as an underdog. And hey – we're on it. Every day. For you.

Our very own story
Here we go
Hi, we are Michael and Chris. The founders of Athleez. We know each other from working together as coaches in a professional youth academy. Since then we have not only been friends, but the idea for Athleez was also born.
Idea
The idea? A fitness band with a fastener so that the annoying process of putting on and taking off bands is finally a thing of the past. Produced in Germany, as sustainably as possible. There was even an innovation grant for the idea and implementation.
Innovation
It took almost a year to develop our innovative magnetic closure. After all, quality, durability and functionality were the basic requirements for our idea. With the perfect partner, KuCoR e.K., we were able to implement all the requirements.

Of course we understand the skepticism about the safety of our Mini.Clip.Band. But just trust us, because...
Quality control
... we put everything through its paces. This applies to all our products. We don't offer anything that we are not 100% convinced of.
Used by pros
We are extremely proud that our Mini.Clip.Band meets the highest demands of professional athletes (speed skating, football, triathlon, ice hockey, etc.) and is used regularly.

Does it have to be?
Many brands engage in blatant greenwashing and promote recycled plastic as the most sustainable of all. Brands' own “Eco-Friendly” labels to supposedly save the world as a marketing gimmick help maximize profits rather than the planet.
It works...
Fair production and materials that are kind to people and the environment are of course not the wet dream of profit maximization. But we dared to do it anyway. It wasn't that difficult...
Luxury for all
Our production chain was built at the origin of the raw materials. This allows us to avoid unnecessary transport routes and minimize our ecological footprint. This is how we combine top quality with sustainability.

Trust is good, control is better. That's why we have personally inspected our partners' production facilities on site. What convinces us can also give you a good feeling.
